A delicious way to spend your Saturday
The chefs from the North Vancouver Island Culinary Association are back for another FoodFest that will delight your senses. This Saturday March 4, you will find the chefs preparing fresh ingredients from our vendors and cooking up some tasty eats.
The theme for this FoodFest is focused on offal.
Offal is typically the internal organs of an animal but can also include unused parts such as the neck. Although offal may sound non appetizing, when prepared in specific ways, it can be very delicious. In addition to tasting great, offal is incredibly nutritious and loaded with minerals, vitamins and amino acids that are vital to our health.  Don’t fret if offal is not your thing, the chefs will also be cooking other mouth-watering dishes including turkey stew, garlic dumplings, tomato soup and so much more.
Samples will be served from 9:30-11:30. Will we also have recipes available too so that you can make your favorite dishes at home.
