The Chefs from the North Vancouver Island Culinary Association are back at the market on Saturday October 28, 2023 for FoodFest Back to Basics- Fall Edition.

The chefs will be sharing their wealth of knowledge for menu planning, cost-cutting, in-season buying, and making the best use of our local producers. The focus of this session will be on in-season fall produce such as squash and apples.

Our mouths is already watering just thinking about apple sauce and butternut squash soup and salad. The Chefs will be doing a demonstration from 10AM-11AM (for everyone) and then again from 11:30 AM-12:00PM (everyone welcome but geared for kids 8-12).
